Language of Love

We have different ways of expressing our love, be it to our parents, friends, partner or kids.

Mostly we show it through our actions rather than words. Words in forms of poems or letters are amazing act too. Those little things we do for those significant people in our lives just to show that we care & love them. As they say actions speaks louder than words.

There is one thing I have learnt, it’s important to have someone who understands your language of love & its not necessary that the person speaks the same.

When you know how you express & how other person expresses their feelings a lot of misunderstandings are solved. Our expectations that they have to express same way as i do or something similar stops other person to be true & genuine with their feelings.

Imagine if you are made to write letters to express your love & that’s not your style, how much would you suffocate in that relationship.

One of my way of expressing love is by cooking something that the person likes. The other is write poems for the person when i am in a relationship.

What’s yours? What would be their’s (parents, kids, partner, friends)? Have you asked them? if not, its time to pay attention & ask them.
