Our childhood years shape our personalities in every way. We may believe that what happened back then is irrelevant now. It makes an impact if you have buried it deep within your subconscious mind. When these brief memories or glimpses appear in front of you, you are emotional, teary-eyed, angry, or have a desire to push them away. This is a strong indication that those memories continue to haunt you and have an impact on your life in a variety of ways.
You believe that the world is against you, that you are not being supported, that people are here to mock you, that no one loves you, and that everyone is plotting against you.
When you're constantly insecure and don't know where you fit in this world. If you aren't secure within yourself and feeling of belonging within yourself, no matter how good things are in the outside world, you won't be able to identify and enjoy them.
Your outer world mirrors your inner world.
Even small comments like "your skin colour is dark" have an effect on one's confidence and cause them to hide in public. I've seen people start to put themselves down in front of others in fear of being called out for their skin colour or use many products to change their skin colour. This interiority complex has ripple effects in different areas of life – relationship, work, making friends & wanting to explore life.

As adults, we are responsible for both changing and healing ourselves. I know it's not simple; life has many twists and turns, and change leads to an unknown phase of life. People either welcome change and create themselves from there, or they fall back into their established routines and keep themselves safe.
Because of terrible events in my life, I became interested in spirituality first, then energy medicine, psychology, and the like. I've been working in this sector for over 20 years. I've learned to recognize what works and how to mix spirituality, energy, psychology, and nutrition for the overall enhancement of myself and others.
An adult is responsible for his or her behaviours; what motivates or triggers those actions is usually a subconscious belief developed throughout childhood. Stories on how unhealthy childhood affects an individual.
