The impact of a wounded inner child with money.

Your beliefs about money come from family. You can say it's a family pattern. Some run through generations & some are from your parents' experiences, your surroundings while growing up & your experiences that form these beliefs subconsciously run the show of your money reality in adult life.


Here are some common money beliefs that we use to sabotage our growth. Note down what resonates & also write down your beliefs about money.

Your money beliefs are inherited from your family. You might say it's a family pattern, some of which passes through generations and some of which comes from your parent's experiences, your environment while growing up, and your experiences, which develop these ideas subconsciously and run the show of your money reality in adult life.


Here are some frequent money beliefs that we use to hinder our progress. Take notes on what resonates with you, as well as your money beliefs.


1. We are poor but happy

2. There isn’t enough money

3. Wanting more money is greedy

4. Having too much money is selfish

5. Money can’t buy happiness

6. Money creates problems in relationships

7. People are here to loot your money

8. Being poor is better than having money & suffering

9. It’s very difficult/hard to earn money

10. Money is the source of all evil

11. Rich people are arrogant & corrupt

12. Only bad people make more money

13. We belong to poor or middle-class family this much is enough for us

14. Relationships are more important than money

15. Money will solve all problems & money is the root cause of all problems. No money & more problems, both beliefs run simultaneously keeping you stuck.

16. You are good; the universe will provide you with all the resources. At the same time, you have other core beliefs that sabotage the inflow of money.

17. You have a limit to how much you can earn & are unable to break that limit.

These are common beliefs that are used in society & families. Then comes the ones that you have been told by your parents, close ones or have learnt through experience.


1. I can’t earn money

2. I am not skilled enough to earn money

3. Being a woman, it’s difficult to earn money

4. Women should not earn money

5. If you earn more than your partner, he will be insecure & cause problems in your relationship. Play small.

6. I don’t deserve money

7. I will never have enough money

8. Money is important for growth.

9. If I have more money people will ask me.

10. I can’t save money

Once you've recognized the beliefs that are impeding your growth, you can change your money beliefs. Addressing and resolving issues from their inception helps in the creation of new paths to having a healthy relationship with money.
