The warmth

As i was petting my cute baby(kitten) & putting her to sleep with lot of love & care, she would look up to give me a kiss & we would rub our noses multiple times (cats to kiss that way) & she would go to sleep, a beautiful peaceful sleep. I started asking for a man who would give me this kind of love & care.

I wondered when was last time did i feel this way? it was recently. I still do sleep on my parents lap, my aunts & they let me sleep & pamper me like a child.

i did ask few friends who are in relationships or married do get this from their partners? Its a NO.

I fail to understand why do we disconnect with such nurturing touches that is unconditionally available the moment we hit our teens & become an adult. taboo? we think we don’t deserve it? we feel its sexual so avoid it? We don’t have people who can give or even receive? or are we even hesitant to ASK?

How about ASKING for it? How about willing to GIVE without any obligations & connecting it to sex?

How about taking time out to sleep like a kid on your parents lap once again. i hope its not that tough.
